Topic: The (R)evolution of Estate Philanthropy in Canada

For many high-net-worth clients, charitable giving is something they are already doing, but, as always, planning is the key to multiplying both philanthropic impact and their personal fulfillment. Join us for business development insight into the current landscape of Canadian philanthropy and where your clients are already engaged in it. We will discuss how to have ‘The Philanthropic Conversation’ about expressing generosity through asset-based giving, financial and estate planning.

Speaker Bio: Paul Nazareth is well regarded for his work in Canada’s philanthropic sector. As Vice President, Education & Development at Canadian Association of Gift Planners (CAGP), his 20 years of experience spans across wealth management, universities and church philanthropy to serving as faculty member for the Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy (MFA-P™) program trademarked by CAGP. Paul writes on philanthropy and regularly speaks about creating a personal legacy through smart, generous giving.

Dinner Fee: Included in FVEPC membership. Guest price is $75. Discounted fee for CAGP members is $50.

Drawing on both estate planning and litigation perspectives, we will explore practical strategies to ensure our clients’ wishes are protected and preserved.
